I am back in the states for about thirty days

shocked by things familiar and yet still foreign

things alive and frozen

things far to the touch and near to the senses

feel a little messy in my approach

feel a little blurred in all this light

feel a little shaky in all this stillness

awe but there is much to say

had a good time in (c)

a great deal of good was done

experienced some new things

different things

things that caused me to pause

to ask questions

to write things down and consider

to pray and wait for answers

glad to have gone in

glad to have had the chance

glad to be here again

enjoying blue skies with my favorite green tea
